Bio & Nanomaterials Conference

BIONAM 2026 focuses on bio- and nanomaterials across design, multiscale characterisation and function, with a dedicated emphasis on AI-enabled optimisation and translational interfaces (tissue engineering, diagnostics, bioelectronics). The programme combines keynotes, themed oral sessions, roundtables, and short talks, and includes a bilateral Italy–Argentina segment aimed at accelerating collaborative validation loops and joint projects.

Topics

  • Architected, responsive and bioactive bio/nanomaterials (Hydrogels, scaffolds, nanogels, membranes, biointerfaces, electrospun platforms and 3D-bioprinted systems).
  • Multiscale characterisation & structure–property relationships (Imaging, spectroscopy, morphology, crystallinity, interfacial phenomena, transport and functional performance).
  • AI, modelling and data-driven methods for bio/nanomaterials and biomedical systems (Molecular simulation, accelerated computational techniques, biomedical signal analysis, predictive models and performance optimisation).
  • Biointegration, therapeutic function and diagnostics (Tissue interfaces, regenerative medicine, immunomodulation, drug delivery, antimicrobial materials, bioelectronics and sensing).
  • Bio-based, biodegradable and recyclable polymeric materials (Sustainable polymers, degradable scaffolds, chemical recycling, biobased thermosets, photoresins and additive manufacturing).
