Goals

The Bionam Center intends to promote research for biomaterials at the University of Salerno and become an international reference point able to compare with the best international realities.

The so called “Key Enabling Technologies, KETs”, of which biomaterials are a specific example, were identified as the cornerstone of innovation in all industries and sectors, as well as of competitiveness and sustainability of the European industrial economy.
The research and development activities extend to the entire range of research activities, from basic research to industrial applications, to the point that the support to materials research is present throughout the Horizon 2020 program.
